We believe in providing quality educational programs that are affordable, accessible, and effective. But most importantly, we believe in the potential of every student, and the power of educators who really care.

WHO WE ARE

Christian Villaran

Co-founder of STAFFS Prep

Christian is a graduate of Princeton University ('11) with an MBA from Wharton ('18). He started teaching SAT and ACT prep in 2009 going door-to-door in NJ, and has managed to grow STAFFS to a nationwide prep company.

Paras Jain

Co-founder of STAFFS Prep

Paras is a graduate of the Rutgers Business School ('12). He has years of experience in both test prep and expanding businesses, taking STAFFS from a few schools in NJ to teaching thousands of students every year. Fun fact: he is also part owner of the popular burger chain 7th Street Burger in NYC.

About Us

Paras and Christian met at an Education Summit at Princeton University back in the Spring of 2013. During the summit they talked extensively about the inequality in education and both seemed passionate about finding ways to improve it. This was the start of STAFFS Prep, a mentorship and college preparation business aimed at providing affordable education services for all.

WHAT WE DO

Award-winning Crash Courses

We have spent countless years learning and distilling the standardize testing strategies into our award-winning crash courses. Our goal is to have students learn more in 2-3 hours than they might in a full class of prep.

Increase Accessibility through Technology

We believe that technology used correctly can really help students study for their exams. That is why we developed our own proprietary online SAT prep software designed to take students through everything they'll need to know to succeed on the exam.

Quality 1:1 Prep

We are extremely picky on who we allow to tutor for STAFFS Prep. We hire experienced teachers who are aligned on provided quality prep at a more affordable price.

Give Back Locally

In conjunction with guidance departments at the local schools, we host parent/student nights to talk about the college testing and admissions process. We believe the more involved and educated the parents are about the process, the better it will be for the students.

We don't want financial considerations to get in the way of a student's goals. That is why we award scholarships to students who want to take our courses but need some financial support.
